The family-operated Hacker Oktoberfest tent is one of the most popular beer tents at Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest host Toni Roiderer is continuously coming up with something new for his guests. The interior of the tent was personally designed by Oscar award-winning Rolf Zehetbauer, encompassing nearly 13,000 square feet, and depicting scenes from everyday life in Munich with its historical buildings and the entire pristine Munich landscape under an expanse of Bavaria’s white and blue sky.
The Hacker tent at the Munich Oktoberfest is also known for its revolving bandstand in the middle of the tent and its retractable roof. During warmer weather, parts of the roof can be opened and the “The Heaven of the Bavarians” is almost within reach.
Of course, a cold glass mug of Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest beer requires a decent meal. The traditional Bavarian kitchen in the Hacker tent is happy to accommodate. Whether you want Hendl, a roasted Bavarian chicken, crispy duck, a generous sausage and cheese plate or homemade Kaiserschmarrn pancakes, no one goes hungry or thirsty in the Hacker Oktoberfest tent.
“The Kirchdorfer” band turns the channel to fun in the Hacker tent with their energetic Bavarian brass band music, while the legendary “Cagey Strings” heat things up in the evening. The tent’s many celebrity guests are a hint of the good party, such as singer Campino from the Toten Hosen, who likes to stop by for a tasty glass of Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest
