Question

So the question is sense we are thinking of staying an extra day, would we like to take a day trip outside of Munich via car and stay the night somewhere? It does not need to be Rothenburg but maybe something just as wonderful.... There is advantages and disabantages to taking to the road.

Advantages-
Come and go when you please
Stop in little towns on the way if we like
The freedom and excitement of the open road

Disadvantages-
Cost of petrol
Traffic
Drinking
Possability of getting lost

Again this is just me thinking out loud.  I do like th idea of heading out on the open road but I can also see that it has its limitations

So to recap

Where to go?
How long to stay there?
And how to get there?
